Perhutana: Embracing the idea of the New Rural Agenda, which recognizes non-human entities as playing a vital role in the sustainability of all living beings, Perhutana emerges as an alternative approach to forest-making—one that is collectively built upon our shared awareness as humans, who are often regarded as invaders of forests. This invasion ranges from individual acts such as cutting down a single tree, to clearing vast forest areas for personal gain, and even the large-scale destruction of virgin forests in the name of infrastructure development.
Regardless of the scale, such actions inevitably lead to conflict. The development of this forest is conceived as a solution to various forms of conflict—ecological, social, and cultural. This initiative also stands as a commitment to raising awareness and offering restitution for those who have caused harm to Nature.

We organize educational activities for kids on the land, where children engage in hands-on learning about nature, sustainability, and local ecosystems. Through supervised exploration, and planting workshops, they develop a deeper connection to the environment while gaining practical knowledge about conservation and responsible land stewardship.
